2022 – A year of getting back to normal!
This year MSUdj has bounced back with MANY new and legacy events in 2022!
We still provide Karaoke to the students of Jackson College and DJ services for the Southgate Senior Center luncheons.
But, with more people and venues seeking PROFESSIONAL DJ & KJ service, they are finding MSUdj.
We are playing weddings across the SE Michigan area and new corporate and private events, too.
MSUdj was asked to provide DJ entertainment during the breaks of a live band at the West Side Detroit Polish American Historical Society‘s ’60s Polish Wedding dance. The live band was limited to a few ‘oldies’ and their Polka repertoire.
MSUdj provided some pre-band 1950s & ’60s music to start the evening. During band breaks, we played a few of the 9 hours of ’50s music & 10 hours of ’60s music in our collection … music the band COULD NOT play. MSUdj lead the audience participation dances: the Loco-Motion (Little Eva), the Stroll (The Diamonds), the Polish Grand March AND the ubiquitous Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey. We were humbled by the great comments from the attendees!
We have dates open, but, you have to call NOW to make sure your get MSUdj. We had an unfortunate situation occur when a Class Reunion (we played their last reunion 5 years ago) could not get their committee to decide on a date for about 2 months. When they finally chose a date … we had booked that date ONLY 3 DAYS BEFORE!
But, MSUdj has also booked events with only 1 week’s notice!
